The Studio 8 is Evenheat's latest personal kiln. Like its sturdy little sibling, the Hot Box,
this kiln offers tough construction, portability, and a hundred-and-one uses. Evenheat
improvements include a larger firing chamber, viewing window, and thicker insulation in the
base and cover. The fiber lid and base along with host of well placed handles make set-up
and operation light and easy.
The Studio 8 is suitable for all glass related firings up to 1800°F. It has the speed and power
you've come to know and love, but still runs on standard household current. Use it in the shop
or kitchen; it's up to you! Unlike smaller jewelry kilns, the Studio 8's larger size allows for bigger
pieces including pate-de-verre forms and molds. Use it for painting, fusing, slumping, Pate de Verre,
experiments, etc. Also good for China and Porcelain painting.
