FRANKENBERRY HISTORY

FrankenBerry was created in 1971 by General Mills. The cereal is described as, "sweet strawberry flavor cereal + marshmallow bits" or on his newer boxes, "strawberry flavor cereal with strawberry marshmallows". FrankenBerry was very popular in the 70's and then began to fade away due to less consumers buying the cereal and the lack of effort by General Mills to advertise and promote it. FrankenBerry is still available today, but is very rare to find. Several of his monster friends had the same fate. Learn more about his friends here.

FrankenBerry has had many boxes over the years. His newest box is really lame.

Also in 1995, FrankenBerry received a new look. His new look is so weak; maybe that's why people stopped buying him.

FRANKENBERRY LINKS

Darrin's Frankenberry Page - As far as I know this is the only other FrankenBerry webpage on the whole internet.

Traci's collectibles - Order FrankenBerry directly from this site! You can also buy some cool FrankenBerry merchandise.

General Mills - General Mills makes FrankenBerry yet there is no trace of him on their site. I wrote to them about FrankenBerry and they babbled on for a little and then gave some ordering instructions. This is what they said.
