Gamebird hunting for pheasant, chukar and quail is open from September 1st through March 31st (through May 31st for chukar). The avid wing hunter may choose the challenge of hunting different varieties of pheasant or the more fleet chukar partridge or bobwhite quail. No hunting license is required, making it easy for non-resident and resident hunters alike to enjoy a day afield. Youths 12 and older are also welcome to hunt accompanied by an adult at Upland Game Preserve.

Morning and afternoon hunts can be arranged seven days a week. Dog and guide service are available or you can bring your own dog and hunt at your leisure. Using an Upland Game Preserve dog and guide, guarantees that you will have shots at the number of birds purchased. Clay target shooting, bird cleaning and taxidermy are also available. With prior arrangements, hunts can be video taped.

For the out of town hunter, lodging at Parkview Lodge provides a comfortable and accommodating atmosphere. Breakfast is included with an overnight stay or with prior arrangements full homestyle meals can be served. (See our lodging page.)
